As a performer you are in one of the most demanding, competitive industries possible.  For every job you want, there are a hundred performers who look almost exactly like you, who have resumes almost identical to yours.  Why would you want a marketing image that is going to blend in with all of the other headshots on the casting director's desk?

Your headshot is your audition on paper.  And like your auditions it should be meticulously prepared so that it can be flawlessly executed.

You and I will begin our work with me asking you what you want to achieve, what your artistic and professional life is all about; not with me telling you not to wear a plaid shirt or to wash your hair before our session. 

Once you've articulated those overall objectives, things like hair, make-up, and wardrobe take care of themselves.
